Every year, the Israeli Opera’s outreach and education projects touch over 200,000 people across the country, exposing diverse populations and age groups to the opera, including adults, children, Sabras,  Arabs, Druze and Beduins, Russian immigrants, Ethiopian immigrants and more.  The Israeli Opera believes that opera is a universal language that can cross communication and cultural boarders.  Therefore, one of the Israeli Opera’s top priorities is bringing opera out into the community and using it as a tool to help strengthen the social fabric of Israeli society and nurture a common identity among a society as diverse as the one in Israel.  To achieve this goal, the Opera has initiated a number of unique and innovative projects.
