Jihoon Kim, bass,  was born in South Korea. His repertoire includes Sarastro in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Colline in La boheme, Timur in Turandot, Simone and Betto in Gianni Schicchi, Angelotti in Tosca, Ashby in La fanciulla del West (Puccini), Ferrando in Il trovatore, Silva in Ernani (Verdi), Wagner in Faust (Gounod), Old Hebrew in Samson et Dalila (Saint-Saens), Don Prudenzio in Il viaggio a Reims (Rossini) and others. He performs at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and in the opera houses of Seoul, Opera North, Welsh National Opera, Valencia, Grange and others.
