Contemporary Israeli Dance at the OperaPremiere on November 30

The project is a new venture of the Israeli Opera and the Suzanne Dellal Center, which aims at presenting international contemporary repertory dance on a regular base in Israel.A dozen Israeli dancers were chosen to participate in the Project after extensive auditions. They will perform in the first repertory evening of the Project.The works performed will be:Light Years by Jacopo GodaniSuper Nova by Marco GoeckeThrough the Center by Emanuel GatThese dance works are performed regularly by leading international dance companies such as NDT, The Paris Opera Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, Scapino Ballet, Monte Carlo Ballet and many others.

The artistic director of the Project is Mate Moray, a former dancer of the Israeli Ballet, who choreographs and teaches in Israel and abroad.

Three very individual dance works from various styles. Energetic, exciting contemporary dance that focuses on the refined aesthetics and technique of classical ballet.
