Fahima Hila, soprano
Fahima Hila, soprano
Hila Fahima, soprano, was born in Israel. She was a member of the Israeli Opera’s Meitar Opera Studio and later of the ensemble of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Today she is a member of the ensemble of the Vienna Staatsoper where she performs a wide variety of repertoire including Gilda in Rigoletto, Nanetta in Falstaff, Oscar in Un ballo in maschera (Verdi), Sidonie in Armide (Gluck), Eudoxie in La Juive (Halevi), Frasquita in Carmen (Bizet), Waldvogel in Siegfried (Wagner), Servilia in La clemenza di Tito, the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), Dalinda in Ariodante (Handel) and others. Other roles in her repertoire include Giunia in Lucio Silla, Blonde in Die Entführung aus dem Serail (Mozart), Young Shepard in Tannhäuser (Wagner), Jano in Jenufa (Janacek), Ninetta in L’amour des Trois Oranges (Prokofiev), Ruggiero in Tancredi (Rossini), Semele in Die Liebe der Danae, Najade in Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss), First Niece in Peter Grimes (Britten) and others. She performs at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and in the opera houses of Basel, Toulouse, Essen, Graz, Glyndebourne, the Proms in Londonand others. She received the AICF, Eli Leon and Industrial-Cultural Club.
