    Ashkenazi Efrat, soprano

    Ashkenazi Efrat was born in Israel. She studied at the Beit Zvi School for the Arts and graduated in Musicology and Humanities from the Bar Ilan University. She received the Israeli Vocal Arts Institute scholarships as well as the Baser, Eli Leon, Ronen and Sano scholarships. Efrat Ashkenazi was a member of the Israeli Opera’s Opera Studio where her repertoire included the Countess in Le nozze di Figaro, Vitelia in La clemenza di Tito, the First Lady in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Mimi in La boheme (Puccini), the Mother in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck) and others. She performed Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss) with the the Haifa Symphony Orchestra.
