Nikitin Maria, piano
Was born in Byelorussia and immigrated to Israel. She graduated from the Minsk Music Academy and from the Tel Aviv Academy for Music where she studied with Michael Bugoslavsky. She works regularly as an accompanist (opera and lied) and she performs with singers in concerts, recitals and opera productions all over Israel. Maria Nikitin was a member of the Israeli Opera's Opera Studio where she accompanied the members of the Opera Studio in variegated activities and concerts including educational programs in schools all over Israel, concerts and recitals. She also played for the Opera Hour for Children series, performed by members of the Opera Studio, where her repertoire included Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Orfeo ed Euridice (Gluck), Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), La Cenerentola (Rossini) and Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck) as well as extended scenes from many operas including Werther (Massenet), Cosi fan tutte (Mozart), Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky) and many others. She also performed regularly in numerous Israeli Opera concerts at the Opera House in Tel Aviv and all over Israel.
