    Irene Alhazov, soprano, was born in Israel. She graduated from the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance. She performed the role of the Second Women in Dido and Aeneas (Purcell), Gulietta in I Capuleti ed i Montecchi (Bellini), Virtu in L’incoronazione di Poppea (Monteverdi) and others. She participated at the summer workshop of the IVAI. She participated in many concerts with the Raanana Symphonette Orchestra and other ensembles. She received the Eli Leon scholarship. Irene Alhazov was a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire included Pamina in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Mrs. Gobineau in the Medium (Menotti) and other roles.
