Atari Hadar, soprano
Hadar Atari, soprano, was born in Israel. She studied at the Tel Aviv Music Academy and graduated from the Jerusalem Music Academy where she studied with Efrat Ben Nun. During her studies she performed the Fire and the Nightingale in L'enfant et les sortileges (Ravel), Gretel in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck) and Papagena in Die Zauberflote (Mozart). She appeared as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Raanana Symphonette Orchestra and the Israel Sinfonietta Beer Sheva. She received the AICF and the Eli Leon scholarships. Hadar Atari was a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire included Gretel in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Papagena in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Monica in The Medium (Menotti), Sister Genoviefa in Suor Angelica (Puccini) and other roles. She performed Clorinda in La Cenerentola (Rossini) in the Opera Studio production with the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion and with the Israel Sinfonietta.
