Nishri Tamara, soprano
Tamara Nishri, soprano, was born in Israel. She graduated with honors from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music. Her operatic repertoire includes the roles of Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, the First Lady in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), and Mrs. Nolan in The Medium (Menotti). She has received scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation and the Ronen Foundation. She has appeared as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. She also performed as a soloist with the Bertini choir, with whom she participated in an international tour to Venice and Nuremberg. Tamara has collaborated with the Clipa Theater and numerous ensembles and a cappella groups across various genres, including classical music, jazz, pop, and modern music. She is a member of the Meitar Opera Studio of the Israeli Opera, where her repertoire includes the First and Second Ladies in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), the Mother in Hänsel und Gretel (Humperdinck), and Tisbe in La Cenerentola (Rossini).
