Ido Rozenberg, director, was born in Israel. He performed as an actor with most Israeli theatre companies in many theatre plays and musicals including Tony in West Side Story, Richmond in Richard III, Edi in Blood Brothers, the Emcee in Cabaret and others. He also dubs in many films. He has directed numerous theatre productions and musicals including End of the Rainbow at the Cameri Theatre, Zero Motivation, Passing the Love of Women, House Arrest at Beit Lessin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Yes No Black White, Hello Forever, Greta at the National Children Theatre, Perfect Wedding, Red Lights Winter, The Good the Bad and the Girl at the Library Theatre, Fiddler on the Roof, Murder, My Fair Lady, I Like Mike, The Little Prince, Our Town at Beit Zvi, Chicago, Pippin, Company, at Thelma Yellin School for Arts and many more. This is his first work at the Israeli opera.
