Sophie Sahanov, mezzo soprano, was born in Israel. She graduated from the Netanya Music Conservatory and the Nitzan Choir. She was a member of the Moran Choir. She participated in the Israeli Oepra productions of Otello (Verdi) and Tosca (Puccini). She is a memebr of the Nitzan Chamber Ensemble. Received a young artists encouragement scholarship in Netanya.
