Stathis Livathinos, director, was born in Greece. He is the artistic director of the Greek National Theatre. He has directed many opera and theatre productions in Greece, Cyprus, Amsterdam, Montreal, Santiago di Chile, Sibiu, Madrid, Beijing, Brussels and many others. His theatre credits include The Idiot, Love Labour’s Lost, Timon of Athens, The Iliad, Agamemnon, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, King Lear, Danton’s Death, The House of Bernarda Alba, Glengarry Glenn Ross and many others. His opera credits include Carmen (Bizet), Aida (Verdi), Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart) and others.
