Lili Kendaka, costume designer, was born in Greece. She has designed costumes for numerous opera and theatre productions including Cosi fan tutte, Don Giovanni (Mozart), Jenufa (Janacek), Simon Boccanegra, Macbeth, La traviata, Un ballo in maschera (Verdi), Tristan und Isolde, Der fliegende Hollander (Wagner), Cyrano de Bergerac (Alfano), Boris Godunov (Mussorgsky), Carmen (Bizet), Tosca (Puccini), Norma (Bellini) and others. She has worked with many theatre and opera companies in Greece and in France as well as in the opera houses of Spoleto USA, Madrid, San Francisco, Liege, Catania, Athens and others. This is her first work at the Israeli Opera.
