Was born in Germany. He has collaborated with Sasha Waltz since 1995, including Travelogue III – All Ways Six Steps, Allee der Kosmonauten, Zweiland, Na Zemlje, Körper, noBody, insideout (awarded the OPUS Prize 2004 for Stage Design of the Year), Gezeiten, Medea and Roméo et Juliette (Berlioz).
