Was born in Israel. He has conducted most Israeli orchestras as well as orchestras abroad and he also performs as a pianist. His opera productions include Don Giovanni (Mozart) at the Vienna Volksoper and in Santiago, Orphée et Eurydice (Gluck) in Santiago, Il viaggio a Reims (Rossini) in  Brussels, La Gioconda (Ponchielli) in Liège, Semiramide (Meyerbeer) at the Martina Franca Festival and Rigoletto (Verdi) at the Opéra de Massy.
