Sebastian Holecek, baritone, was born in Austria. His repertoire includes Scarpia in Tosca (Puccini), Pizzaro in Fidelio (Beethoven), Alfio in Cavalleria rusticana (Mascagni), Wotan in Das Rheingold (Wagner), Kaspar in Der Freischütz (Weber), Peter in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), Escamillo in Carmen (Bizet), Sprecher in Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), Falke and Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss) and other roles. He performs at the Vienna Staatsoper, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London and the opera houses of Amsterdam, Stuttgart, Munich, Hamburg, Madrid, Tokyo, Catania, Beijing, Sydney and others.
