Alexandrovskaya Regina, Director and Choreographer

Regina Alexandrovskaya, director, was born in Russia. She graduated from GITIS, the Russian Academy of Theatrical Arts in 1998. In Moscow she directed Antony and Cleopatra (Barber), The Beggar’s Opera (Gay), Moon Wolves (Semenov) and other productions. Since 1999 she has been working regularly at the Israeli Opera as an assistant director on numerous productions with directors such as Jean-Claude Auvray, David Pountney, David Alden, Mariusz  Trelinski and others. In Israel she directed  Venus and Adonis (Velasco)  at the Abu Gosh Festival. She revived the Israeli Opera production of Yevgeny Onegin (Tchaikovsky) at the Dallas Opera.
