Szilvi Szendy, soprano, was born in Hungary. She is a member of the Budapest Operetta theatre since 1998 where her roles include Olga in Die lustige Witwe, Mi in Das Land des Lächelns (Lehár), Lisa in Gräfin Mariza (Kálmán), Liesl in The Sound of Music, Metella in La Vie Parisienne (Offenbach) and others. This is her Israeli Opera debut.
