Hoheisel Tobias, set & costume designer

Tobias Hoheisel, set and costume designer, was born in Germany. He has designed many operas including Katya Kabanova, The Makropulous Case (Janacek), Death in Venice (Britten), The Bartered Bride (Smetana), Der Freischütz (Weber), Idomeneo (Mozart), Fedora (Giordano), Lohengrin (Wagner), Il trittico (Puccini), Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss), Alcina (Handel), Les Troyens (Berlioz), Iphigénie en Tauride (Gluck), Boulevard Solitude (Henze), La bohème (Puccini) and many more. He has designed productions for the Royal National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company,  Royal Court and the opera houses of Glyndebourne, Berlin, Vienna, Brussels, Paris, Munich, Chicago, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the English National Opera and many others.  At the Israeli Opera he designed A Midsummer Night's Dream (Britten) and Ariadne auf Naxos (R. Strauss).
