    Keren Sivan, soprano

    Keren Sivan, soprano

    Sivan Keren, soprano, was born in Israel. She graduated from the Buchman-Mehta School of Music at the Tel Aviv University. Her operatic repertoire includes Elettra in Idomeneo, Countess Almaviva and Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Monica in the Medium (Menotti), Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Cleopatra in Gulio Cesare in Egitto (Handel) and more. She won the first prize at the Spring Competition 2017. She received the Leon Nacht scholarship. Sivan Keren is a member of the Israeli Opera's Meitar Opera Studio where her repertoire includes the Mother in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck), the First Lady in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), Enchanted Planet in La liberazione di Ruggiero (Francesca Caccini) and other roles.
